Free Quran Chapter 94: Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

Learn from GOD that with pain there is gain, it is a divine law to reward hard righteous work. It is important to trust GOD, because no one else has your back. Especially your insides, your feelings, emotions, regrets and such. No friend, or parent or teacher can look inside your soul and say that they will catch you when you fall. Sure, people can catch your physical body when you fall down. But who can lift up your soul? Who has the power to protect you on a soul-level, on a heart-level, on a mind-level? Only GOD has that power. Therefore you must trust GOD. Because GOD will remove anger from you and will reward you for your work. How many times have you done something nice to others, small things that matter, but people don’t understand it or don’t see it? Well, GOD sees it. And sure, it is painful, but remember, with pain there is gain, never forget this divine wisdom, is it after straight from GOD!

Another thing to take away from this chapter is that GOD emphasizes that we should be seeking only GOD. This completely shatters most of today’s religious practices where people seek prophets and saints to unburden their sins. Like intercessors. This goes completely against GOD’s commandment. Which is to only seek GOD. In your prayers, in your call for help, in your gratitude, in your happiness, in your sadness, in strength, in weakness, in health, in sickness, anything related to faith should only be about GOD. Imagine GOD as a source of energy, and that energy is the only thing that keeps you alive. Now ask yourself, why in GOD’s name do you need anything other than GOD then? Well, you don’t need anyone other than GOD. It is that simple.
